帰国

Auckland空港で、出国手続きをするために並びました。

いろんな国からの旅行客と一緒に。

また、香港で入国審査のために並らびました。

ホテルについてからはコンビニに寄った後に

近くの店で食べました。

翌朝、私はホテルの近くでジョギングをしました。

川のそばは公園だらけで、あっちこっちで運動している人がいました。

次のグループに飛び入り参加をさせてもらいました。

きれいな提案も無料で見ることができました。

今、空港でこれを書いています。後１時間ほどで飛行機に乗ります。

Flea Market

On Sunday, Aoi and Lisa invited me to go with them to a flea market in Titirangi War Memorial Park.  It was great.  I bought some hand-made wooden toys like this one.

One met several people who speak Japanese.  Some of them (our taxi driver and an artist we met) were Japanese people leaving in New Zealand and some other them were New Zealanders like this man who used to live in Japan.

This little girl was selling lemonade.

Thanks Aoi!  Thanks Lisa!  I had a nice time and bought many nice gifts to take back to Japan.

Harbour Cruise

On Friday we enjoyed a cruise tour of Waitemata Harbour (or Auckland Harbour).

After the cruise I took a picture of all of the participants:

I think everyone had a good time.

This last picture is one I took in front of Kyosen's OK Gift Shop.  This car from Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World happened to stop in from of us so I took a picture of Misato, Kana, and Ayaka.

Farewell Party

UnitecでFarewell Partyが行われました。ホームステー家族が招待され、皆でピザやフライドポテトなどを食べた後に、大きなホールに移って、学生に修了証書の授与式が行われました。

研修はおおむね順調

研修生のブログを読んでいます。とても楽しんでいるようで、ほっとしています。今のところ問題は特にないようです。来週、会いに行くのが楽しみです。

無事到着

一行が無事ニュージーランドに到着したとの連絡を受けました。

Aucklandでのバスの使い方

7月10日の授業で、皆さんのホームステーの地図やMAXX Auckland Transitのウェブサイトを利用して、ホームステー先からUnitecまでのバスの乗り方や料金などを調べる方法を見せようとしましたが、うまくいきませんでした。授業の後に、やり方を調べ直して、正しいやり方を見せる動画を作りました。動画を見て、自分のポームステー先からUnitecへの道などを調べてみてください。



MAXX Auckland Transitのサイトにはバクがあり、うまくいかないときがあります。そういう問題の解決方法を次の動画で説明しています。



なお、動画に出てくるバス停の番号というのは、ウェブ上でバステーを特定するものであって、バス停には表示されていないのではないかと思います。

海外のパソコンでの日本語入力

Ajax IME: Web-based Japanese Input Methodをお勧めします。ただ、授業で説明するように、ブラウザーによっては使えないことがあります。ExplorerやFirefoxならいいはずです。

航空便

8月5日の集合時間は午前11:30で、集合場所は熊本学園大学正門のロータリー付近です。

なお、行きは8月5日出発で8月6日（土）のお昼ごろ到着になっているのは、飛行機の中で一晩を過ごすことになっているからです。飛行機の中はやや寒いことが多いので、長いズボンなど、割と温かいものを機内に持ち込むと良いでしょう。また、Aucklandは冬ですので、飛行機を降りてからもやや温かい服装がいいでしょう。最近の気温等についてはここをクリックしてください。

帰りは香港にあるホテルに一泊します。

NZの研修予定

単位認定等

このブログの上の方にいくつかの「タブ」を加えました。最も重要なのは「単位認定」ですが、「持ち物」、「入管」、「バス」も参考にしてほしいと思います。

持っていくもの（充電機器、食べ物など）

Aoiさんが「持っていくもの」というリストをブログに載せました。たいへんいいリストだと思いますので皆さんに参考にしてほしいと思います。ただ、次の二点を指摘したいと思います。

1. 「コンセントアダプター」に関する記述では「コンセントアダプター」と「変圧器」が一緒になってしまっていると思います。全員の皆さんに必ず必要なのは「コンセントアダプター（Oタイプ）」（ぜひ左のリンクをクリックしてものを確認してください）です。たとえば、カメラの充電器をコンセントに差し込むためにはこのアダプターが必要になりますし、ノート型パソコンもそうです。安いので、場合によっては二個を買っておくとよいのではないかと思います。「変圧器」はNZの電圧を日本製品に合わせるものですが、高いし、多くの場合は必要ないだろうと思います。ドライヤーを持って行きたいので、そのための変圧器が必要という話を聞きますが、それなら、海外用のドライヤーを買えばよいだろうと思います。なお、ノート型パソコンを持って行く人は携帯をUSBで充電するためのケーブルを持って行けばパソコンで携帯を充電できます。iPad、iPhone、ゲーム機器などもパソコンのUSBで充電できると思います。パソコンを持って行かないけどもUSBでものを充電したい人には海外用USBアダプターをお勧めします。コンセントアダプターと一緒に使えば、USBケーブルで充電できる機器をNZのコンセントから充電できるようになります。
2. 日本食つくる材料
   食べ物（小麦粉など）が関税にひっかかる可能性が高いので、ものによっては没収されるかもしれません。申告しないで見つかった場合は即$400の罰金ですので、必ず申告してください。

   You can write in Japanese or English. When you are ready to add a link to your blog, please ask me to help you. I will show you how to do it.
4. Post a picture
   If you have some extra time, please ask me to show you how to post a picture to your blog.

Whether you're in the front row or the back, all passengers must keep an eye on the lighted signs and follow the crew's instructions.
If the seatbelt sign is switched on, nip [go] back into a seat and fasten your seatbelt.
Not so tight that you'll lose feeling in your legs, but enough to make sure it's snug across your hips.

Well, I'm an older man now.   I get up earlier so I can get a longer day.  I hope for a longer day, I suppose.

When I wake up in the morning I hope, personally, that I can put something back, that I am doing something good that will have a greater benefit for people.

I'm just hoping to make a success of my business, with my family's backing.

My greatest hope is to make this one song, (and then) one song that could change the hearts of millions of people, if not the first time but the second time they hear it.

I just hope people can learn to live in peace. I mean, there just seems to be an awful lot of hatred and wars for really no reason.

My hopes are for a return to values of fairness and equity.

My biggest hope and something that I would love to happen would be that, as a whole,  you know, humans all around the world find a way to live more in harmony with each other and with the world that we live in.
