Back in Kumamoto

Departing Seoul

We leave Seoul for Fukuoka in about 30 minutes.

後30分ほどで福岡に向かってソウルを出発します。何もかも順調です。

Arrived in Seoul

We have arrived in Seoul and have checked into our hotel.

Ready to board

Thanks to Tina, Peter, and the lady from the travel agency, we were able to check in and get through customs without any difficulties. Many of the students exceeded the 20 kilogram limit but Korean Air did not make an issue of it -- perhaps because we check in as a group.

Farewell Lunch

UNITEC held a farewell lunch for us in a delicious restaurant called McHugh's of Cheltenham with a beautiful view.

Here are two pictures. They are very similar but some people may look a little bit better in one or the other of them.

Agrodome Sheep Show

On Sunday, we went to the Agrodome near Rotorua and two of our students (Kiyono and Mayumi) got up on stage and became part of the show.

Tamaki Maori Village

We visited the Tamaki Maori Village in Rotorua, where our chief, Kotaro, was selected among 6 other chiefs to to accept the token of friendship offered by a Maori warrior.



The Maori chief was a great host and a real comedian.

Computer trouble

My computer isn't working. So, it is very difficult for me to read and write e-mail and do other things on the internet now. I am borrowing a computer to write this.
